Nick Stewart is the Managing Director of Databases By Design Ltd.

Nick graduated from Victoria University in 1981 with a BCA in Computing and Accountancy. Since then he has continued to work in IT development and database design. He did extensive database design training in the early 1980s while contracted as a development team leader to ICL on the Post Office Savings Bank Replacement Project. He kept up his links to financial systems while developing software for J P Scott Ltd and then Wellington City Council.

Nick began working with MS Access and Visual Basic in 1994, while gradually widening his contracting clients. He has worked in wide variety of industries, but continued to specialise in MS Access and Visual Basic and more recently, SQL Server.

Nick formed Databases By Design Ltd in 2006.

Nick has been married to Christine since 1989 and they have 2 children.
